Another quickie - 40 minutes with the #2 pencil. It doesn't pass the mirror test but I figured what the heck, I was in a hurry :)
Signed up for this month's Drawspace ATC - the theme of music/musical instruments was too hard to pass up. Besides if busy Maricello can find time to do it, I can jump off the cliff too.

Looks good to me. What's the mirror test?
One holds the drawing up against a mirror. If the reflected image looks weird, it flunked the test. Great tool for spotting uneven facial contours or eyes that don't slant right.
Forgive me if I'm being dense, but do you mean to hold it as though it is "looking" into the mirror? Or at some angle to it? Now I'm going to go around the house to find pictures to check in the mirror...
Yes, hold the drawing/picture in front of you as if it was a person looking into the mirror.
