Application
Finally put in my application for "Substitute Teaching". Been procrastinating since April when I took the certification workshop. Figured I should get the paperwork done so when an opportunity presents itself at the Local Magnet School (LMS), I can jump on it. Trying to think ahead to when I have to do my internship. It would be nice to do it at LMS which is only a 10 minute drive from my home.

You probably mentioned this before, but what are you teaching?
My husband has been substitute-teaching at the junior high level and tends to do a lot of movie-watching with the kids. Nevertheless he seems to enjoy it and was actually thinking of getting a teaching certificate there for a while.
I'm working towards a Bachelors Degree in Education: Biology Secondary Division. Why? Because that's one of the three degrees they offer at my local community college. This college is only $60/credit and two miles from where I live. I like going to school so figured I'd work towards something...I never got my Bachelors 30 years ago...Just my AA and then entered the work force...until April 15, 2006 when I quit my day job.
