Okay, Time to Laugh

I've gotten my first request from a friend wishing to hear me play...so here are two pieces with a few "wince" moments. Yes, yes, I know the bowing hand is way too slanty, the bowing erratic and the intonation could be better... and I look way too serious.

On the other hand, what do you expect, I've only been playing for two weeks :)

Just two weeks! Wow. I'm still struggling with those first 9 notes of that second piece after more than a year. I'll never admit to what my second week sounded like.

Bravo, Marisa! TWO WEEKS!! Wow. That's really very good. Those are difficult pieces to play. You're in tune, and it looks like you've memorized the material as well.

OK ... so I've gotta run and practice now so you don't leave me in the dust. :)

Woo hoo! I sure wish I had a video from my second week of playing.

Will be interesting to hear how the birdie accompaniment changes with practice...

Wonderful! So good of you to post this so early in your studies. I look forward to seeing your progress. Loved the birds, too.

Can you tell me please, what is the name of the tune you're playing in M2? It sounds familiar, but I can't place it.

Your progress is amazing, btw! :)
