Year of the Rat


FYI 2008 will be the Chinese "Year of the Rat". I thought you'd enjoy seeing my drawing of the rooster from this week's drawspace challenge instead. The Rooster's Chinese Year was 2005.

    Colored pencil. My acrylics and watercolors from twenty years ago have dried up beyond repair. I never had the patience to work with oils.
